Easy Valentine Fabric Wreath

I must admit I have an obsession with wreaths.
I used to only make them with fake flowers BUT now I'm in love with fabric wreaths.. so simple and easy to make, whats not to love ? First thing I did was drop in at Joanne's and pick out some pink,
red and Valentine themed fabrics, and lucky for me they
were having a 30% off sale on all the fabric I picked out :)

I picked out 6 different fabrics and got a quarter of a yard each = $5.45

After cutting the quarter yards in smaller pieces I made small cuts on the top of each fabric with sissorers than tore them the rest of the way with my hands :)

Here's my pile after 5 or so minutes of tearing.
Next, I just started putting them onto the wreath with a simple little bow.
All done but I'm thinking it still might need something

hmmmmm ? ? ?

Close up of the very cute heart filled fabric I used.

Happy Crafting !

  2. Kristi, this is great. I think it needs something like the glitter words I saw in the Dollar Spot at Target (although I think they are $2.50). I have seen them other places too. Great job. I may have to make one of these too! Looks awesome!

  3. Very sweet! I've done a raggy burlap wreath, but never in fabric. It's so cute for Valentine's Day! Love it!

  6. I made one too! I put an X and O in the middle of mine. It added that little something that was missing.
